Join Nightingale Farm for our third-annual Katonah CSA Fruit Share!
Enjoy an entire season of delicious Nightingale Farm fruit, with weekly pickups in Katonah. Share runs from July 18th through October 31st.
Each weekly share will usually contain one type of fruit - whatever is in season and was harvested that week (sometimes that day!).
Available fruit, and the size of each weekly share, depends on mother nature. Joining a CSA is investing in local agriculture, and gives you a share of our weekly harvest - in good times and bad! The size of the share from week to week depends on all of the environmental factors affecting our farm, and will vary in size from fruit to fruit and from year to year. In the past, weekly share sizes have been a quart of premium donut peaches, two quarts of grapes, or a peck of apples.
The fruits we have planted here on our farm include: yellow peaches, white peaches, white flesh donut peaches, blackberries, nectarines, Concord grapes, Niagara grapes, Sheridan grapes, Quince, Bosc pears, and a truly unique and extensive variety of apples including Gala, Golden Delicious, Golden Russet, Macoun, Northern Spy, Greening, Winesap, Fuji, Ginger Gold, Jonagold, Lady, and the apple our farm is known for - the best Granny Smith apples in NY.
Share pickup each week will be Thursdays 4-7pm on Old Village Lane, Katonah, NY.
For every share purchased, we donate shares to the Community Center of Northern Westchester to help feed our community.
Begins Thursday, July 18th, 4-7pm, Old Village Lane, Katonah, NY.
