Join Megan Lamb, Quartz Rock Vineyard's Assistant Winemaker and Culinary Institute graduate, for a wine pairing class featuring all of the Quartz Rock dessert wines, including the iced wines which have never been available for tastings before.
This interactive, hands-on tasting class includes tastes of five dessert wines (typically sweeter and high-alcohol) and five different dessert pairing bites. Megan will lead you through the tasting, teaching as you move along in a way that’s suitable for both wine aficionados and beginners, and answer any of your questions.
Practice the art of tasting sweet and fortified wines, while learning how to discern the different aromas and flavors of each grape varietal and each winemaking style. Learn how to pair these wines with desserts to best complement the different fruit, flower, herbaceous, and earthy notes of the wine and the different aromas, flavors, and textures of easily accessible, crowd pleasing desserts.
