2026 Spring Vineyard Work
Hand tying the DeChaunac vines 4/17/26
Usually this would be done earlier, before budding, as the buds are fragile and can easily be knocked off. But we are a very small team, doing everything by hand, and these vines are at least 7 days ahead of where they would normally be on this calendar date!
Take a close look at the bud on your right - you’ll see a drop of liquid coming out of it.
The vines are coming out of dormancy!
As the ground warms up and the vines awaken, their roots will start to take water and nutrients up from the soil.
As this happens, they will start to drip from the cut ends where they were pruned.
Estate wine with a true sense of place
We grow every grape that goes into our bottles
A small family farm, winery, and cidery.
We craft small-batch, award-winning wines and ciders exclusively from fruit we grew here on our farm.
We welcome you to come enjoy the fruits of this land while basking in its natural beauty.
We live right here on the property - this business is literally our home and we treat it as such.
